Projects you will build

Every learner builds a complete live project end to end: requirements, design, development, testing and deployment, the same way projects run in industry. This is the project you will present in interviews.

  • Retail data pipeline (end-to-end live project): Build a pipeline that ingests daily sales files into an S3 data lake, transforms them with PySpark, applies data quality checks and loads a star schema ready for reporting.
  • Incremental SQL Server load: Design fact and dimension tables and load them incrementally with stored procedures and MERGE.
  • API to data lake ingestion: A Python job that pulls data from a REST API, stores it as Parquet and makes it queryable with Athena.

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Some SQL or programming experience is helpful; SQL and Python fundamentals are revised in the course
  • A laptop with at least 8 GB RAM
