Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MakeMyCodes (makemycodes.com, "we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website. We respect your privacy and collect as little information as possible.

In short:

  • You can read every tutorial without creating an account, logging in or giving us any personal information.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • The website stores only your light/dark theme choice in your browser.
  • Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses).
  • We may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, and you can opt out of personalised ads (see Advertising and Google AdSense).

1. Who we are

MakeMyCodes is a free programming tutorial website covering C#, ASP.NET Core, Python, SQL Server and related technologies. It is operated by Sudheer Singh Chouhan, Office Number 330, The Veda Building, Bhanwarkua Square, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

For any privacy question or request, email us at contactus@makemycodes.com.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

Our website has no registration, login, comment or payment forms. We only receive personal information if you choose to contact us, for example by email, phone or WhatsApp to ask a question or to enquire about training. In that case we receive the details you share, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit any website, your browser sends some technical information. Our hosting provider's web server automatically records this in standard server logs:

  • your IP address,
  • browser type and version, and operating system,
  • the page you requested, the date and time, and the page that referred you (if any),
  • the HTTP status of the request (for example, whether the page was found).

These logs are used only to run the website, keep it secure, and fix errors. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.

At present, the website does not use any analytics or tracking service of its own.

3. Cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar feature that keeps data only in your browser and is not sent to the server.

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The tutorials will still work; only your theme choice will not be remembered, and ads may be less relevant.

4. Advertising and Google AdSense

We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to help keep the tutorials free. Please note:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this website and/or other websites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
  • You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
  • If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised based on your browsing.

To learn how Google uses information from websites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalised ads and related cookies are used, through Google's certified consent message. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown by that message.

5. Third-party services

To load quickly and look consistent, our pages use a few external services. When your browser loads a page, it connects to these services, which therefore receive your IP address and browser information:

The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or services. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be shown clearly on this page.
